Create an open flow wedding, with dozens of interactive stations for guests, no formal seating or tables, tech savvy & sleek, make it gorgeous, make it dreamy, combine clean and modern with vintage and garden? Yes indeed! We love design challenges and Jenny jumped on board as head designer for this wedding reception, the last part of a multi event celebration starting in Bali and ending at the Hotel Del. Using a color palette of natural greens, creams, champagne and a touch of sparkle we transformed three of the Del’s iconic spaces into a glamorous vintage playground for grown-ups. We draped the lawn, the ballroom, and filled each space with hundreds of hand picked antique furniture pieces, accessorized with crystals, dreamy florals, and sweet notes on Karis & Blake’s life together in every nook and cranny.

The Lawn: The Windsor Lawn was turned into a vintage furniture filled, dreamy draped party space. Karis & Blake wanted guests to have multiple places to have experiences which included an interactive art canvas, characture artist, smile booth wall, live entertainment stage, multiple fancy food stations, and of course multiple lounge vignettes.

The Beach: A lantern and driftwood trail led guests from the lawn to the beach area. Karis commissioned Concepts Event Design to create custom beach benches to capture the feel of their wedding ceremony in Bali. A floral display best described as an art installation was covered with an acrylic shell to create a stunning place for guests to write well wishes to the bride and groom.

The Ballroom: The reception was an ethereal light bathed magical final destination for guests to party the night away. Included in the festivites were musical performances, shadow dancers, live stream instagram feed, cigarette girls, photo booth, and a live electric DJ violinist. This crazy cool wedding experience was so very Karis and Blake and the perfect start to their next phase of happily ever after.
