A sucker for love stories and obsessed with the inspired photography of Mike & Suzanne of She Wanders, I was honored to create the backdrop for their very own moment in front of the camera. These two are adventurous gypsy spirited souls with a pension for sweets. A team of friends and colleagues came together to create a cupcake picnic for them to show off their playful personalities.

Their cupcake adventure began while riding on matching bikes following a custom map leading them to their hillside destination. Soft yellow vintage furniture pieces were filled to the brim with gorgeous cake plates in yellows and blues stacked with happy yellow cupcakes from CAKE. Organic Elements provided vintage glass goblets styled with wildflowers that had the “just picked from the fields” look. Brightly Designed paper goodies are scattered throughout with quotes about love’s journey in the form of flags, planes, and hearts. The backdrop was just playful and romantic enough to capture the essence of Mike & Suzanne, the true stars of the engagement shoot.
