Sometimes you stumble across an old soul you feel were meant to meet, sometimes that someone is your client. Oh Bayley. She is a vibrant stunner unafraid to push boundaries and jump in head first to a super cool styling concept. She and her darling Craig are about as lovely as it gets. With Craig’s deep love of history and their mutual adoration of the Hotel Dels Victorian vibe we concocted our “if time stopped and gardens grew over the beauty that was there” wedding. Classic elements such as navy ticking stripes + abundance of Victorian-esque ferns + old brassy metals pile into a collection of unique vignettes from ceremony through to the Crown Room reception. We decided to have fun playing up the feminine and masuline of the gents and ladies of the time period. All male guests were asked to wear bowties, and they obliged! Among our favorites of the personal touches everywhere; church pews on the ceremony beach, his & hers dessert display, and of course a whiskey lounge complete with a jar of the groom’s favorite molasses cookies. The surprises never ended as the guests enjoyed live karoake from the bride herself, an old school looking smile booth wall to pose in, and “goodnight sweetie pie” pecan pies to end on a sweet note.
