I received a phone call one evening. On the other end of the line was the most contagiously energetic bride I have ever come across. She and her fiance led me on a wild planning journey we would later declare as “crazed and glamorous”. Janet and Kelly are two stunners who demanded an equally stunning wedding. We set out to make sure every last detail of their wedding was styled to match their vintage glamor aesthetic. Janet chose a color palette of purple, blush, silver and gray with a touch of black. This color palette gets progressively more vibrant with each stage of the wedding. The ceremony begins soft and blushy with a touch of purple, silver and black. The cocktail hour introduces grays and purples. The reception flowers pop with purples and pinks against the silver layered linens. The after party shines in a purple glow. Each moment of the wedding defined by the soft intimate draping. Vendors were sourced near and far to find just the right pieces from local vendors such as Concepts & Blush to LA vendors Wildflower Linen and Casa De Perrin. Oh, and why “Jelly”? Janet + Kelly = Jelly!
The details are so numerous we are splitting this wedding blog into two parts. Today we highlight the bride and groom enjoying their wedding day. Stay tuned for part two including photos and descriptions of each thoughtful detail.
