My bestie/business partner/sounding board/sister-at-heart is preggers with her first baby. So, of course there will be a little soiree in honor of the future Mr. North. With the help from some personal and industry friends, we created a not-too-sweet, totally chic baby shower. A nod to their last name North, and the muted ocean themed nursery in their home, we created a subtle travel theme. Dip died “water-y” looking napkins adorned the place settings, Dr. Seuss travel quotes were displayed on flags throughout, even the color of the decor itself mimicked an aging world map- soft greys, muted blues and greens. Cara has a distinctly modern vibe in her home so I steered the decor that direction. All of this pretty decor + how can one go wrong hosting a party in the stunning Isari Flower Studio? Basically if you plopped anything in this space it would end up looking pretty. Luckily we had a pretty venue AND fabulous vendor friends to create a perfectly Cara North baby shower.
