Jenny’s Ever After: The Belly

We are in the business of sharing love stories. It feels remiss not to shout to the heavens my happy love story which currently has exploded into abundance.

I met my husband Brian 9 years ago. Shall I be honest and admit I spotted this handsome man across the room at a dive bar? The reason we first spoke has been a bone of contention. He’ll swear under oath that I winked at him which prompted the typically shy guy to approach me. I adamantly deny this accusation as I had something in my eye. No matter the reason, I thank that dusty bar for making me blink. I found my soulmate who it turns out had been my angel shadow through years of my life. We both attended the same east coast college and both found our way to the same street in San Diego. Never meeting till just the right moment. Four years later he became my husband.

A year later we decided it was time to start our family. Fate had different plans for us. As I put my heart and soul into building my beloved business I was silently waging a war with destiny. We endured four years of fruitless attempts including medications, injections, IUI’s and IVF. Our 7th and final procedure on Valentine’s Day brought us our happy ending. Our heart grew two baby sizes when we later learned I was pregnant with twins.

I felt so full of joy during pregnancy. My belly, my happy ending, a wish fulfilled. Lucky me to be in the business of beautiful art. Mike Ofeldt & Suzanne Hansen of She Wanders captured my coveted belly. My happily ever after continues to amaze me…

Isabelle and Oliver were born on September 22nd. Stay tuned for the story of their entrance to the world and their newborn photo shoot! Thanks to those wonderful clients and vendors who have been patiently awaiting my return from maternity leave. Back in action and ready to work on YOUR love stories!
